This Minneapolis-based nonprofit client came to NEXT for support of its capital fundraising campaign for a facility expansion. The construction would include a new five-story building with 65 units of housing, an updated Food Centre, and many new amenities.
Tasked with creating fundraising sales tools that would be used by HOC Board members to solicit donors throughout the Twin Cities, NEXT went to the drawing board. The solution needed to be dynamic enough to compel executives at high levels while telling a compelling story about HOC’s mission and community impact.
The final deliverable, a multi-component case folio, showcases the envisioned expansion, with a popup image of the proposed building, and immediately communicates the HOC’s purpose, “Expanding Hope for the Homeless”. The stories and images of the real people who have been helped became the basis for the compelling HOC story. This became the creative foundation upon which HOC rebranded their entire marketing program—from their newsletter to their website.
The user-friendly, easy-to-navigate site reinforces the HOC mission, presents stories of hope, offers resources, news updates, volunteer opportunities and more.
NEXT / GLS leveraged the custom photography from the capital campaign featuring real people to deliver an emotional, impactful message.
